Hello, YS members,
Last at-building rehearsal for the semester! Congrats on two great concert cycles and have some well-deserved time away this holiday season. I’ll be travelling between our Dec. 18 and Dec. 29-31 sessions but will still be able to email should anything come up. We’ll start up again on Jan. 10 with our spring music!
Here’s the schedule of remaining events for this semester. Call times are still TBD but plan on 1 hour before start times below for performances, 30 minutes or more before rehearsals. There is also a possibility that NMP will be requiring an on-site rapid Covid test for all musicians when we arrive on Dec. 18. This would be in addition to the vaccination card or negative PCR test that Popejoy requires for entry. NMP hasn’t confirmed this yet, but they did recently mention it as a strong possibility, and I wanted you to be aware.
NMP Dress Rehearsal and Performance

Saturday December 18th – 10:00am-12:30pm (dress rehearsal with NMPhil – Popejoy Hall)
Saturday December 18th – 6:00pm (performance – Popejoy Hall)
Opera SW Dress Rehearsal and Performance
REHEARSALS – National Hispanic Cultural Center (with Opera Southwest)
Wednesday December 29 – 2:00-5:00 PM (YS students with Anthony B.)
Thursday December 30 – 6:00-9:00 PM (YS and OSW musicians)

Friday, December 31, 2021; 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM (dinner provided in between performances)
