IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT POPEJOY HALL COVID REQUIREMENTS

Popejoy COVID Policy:  https://www.popejoypresents.com/visit/vaccination-policy

All students must check in with Popejoy Hall personnel for both the dress rehearsal (Saturday, November 6) and the concert (Sunday, November 7) by showing a photo ID and EITHER:

  • Proof of fully vaccinated status (either a paper certificate or electronic copy stored on phone)

OR

  • Proof of negative PCR test that was administered within 72 hours of the concert date.  Since the concert is on November 7, the earliest the PCR test can be administered would be Thursday, November 4.

As a reminder – Popejoy Hall will NOT accept in-home rapid test results.  It must be a PCR test administered by a technician.

Why?  Because PCR testing can detect the virus within days of infection, even in those without symptoms.  Other tests do not do this.  Turnaround time for the PCR test is generally longer, within 2-3 days, but results can be reported in as little as 24 hours.  It is important that you allow 2-3 days to get the test results so that you do not have to miss the dress rehearsal on Saturday or the concert on Sunday.
