AYSP BENEFIT CONCERT

Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program alumnus and professional cellist Thomas Shoebotham (class of 1985) will present a recital on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the AYSP Building.
Mr. Shoebotham is principal conductor of New Ballet in San Jose, California. Previous conducting engagements have included Berkeley Opera, Opera San José, Palo Alto Philharmonic and many others. He has lectured on music, taught in school music programs and performed numerous recitals as a cellist and pianist over the last thirty years.
Mr. Shoebotham, along with pianist Sam Jacobs, will perform Three Romances, op. 22 by Clara Schumann, Sonata for Cello and Piano, op. 65 byFrédéric Chopin, Suite for solo cello #1 by J.S. Bach, and Le Grand Tango by Astor Piazzola.

Admission: $20 for adults, children 18 and under FREE

Tickets will be available at the door – $20 for adults, children 18 and under are free. All proceeds will benefit AYSP, and donations are welcome. This will be a lovely program; we hope to see you there.
