JOSEPHINE GONZALES
Josephine Gonzales is a proud Albuquerque native. She received her Bachelors in Music Performance in oboe from Arizona State University in 2010, her licensure in music from the University of New Mexico in 2012, her masters in Music Education from the University of New Mexico in 2017, and her National Board certification in 2025. Josephine served as the Director of Bands at Highland High School in Albuquerque for 14 years. She is currently serving as the Associate Director of Bands at Rio Rancho High School. In addition to her professional duties, Ms. Gonzales is an active clinician, adjudicator, and presenter around New Mexico. Ms. Gonzales has enjoyed co-directing the Albuquerque Youth Symphony Junior Band since 2018 and is proud to be a staff member of the Albuquerque Youth Symphony Program.
