2010 Alumni Reunion
The Third AYS Alumni Reunion will be May 28-30, 2010.
The events will include:
AYS Alumni Artists Recital on Friday, May 28, 2010, 7:30 pm at Sandia Presbyterian Church at 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE. Reception/registration to follow. See the list of participants

AYS Alumni Orchestra Rehearsal on Saturday, May 29 from 1:30 - 4:30 at Jefferson Middle School Gym at 712 Girard NE.
Gala Dinner, in honor of Dale Kempter who is retiring as Music Director, on Saturday, May 29 at 6:30 pm at Bosque School at 4000 Learning Road NW
Le Chat Lunatique, featuring AYS alumnus Muni
Kulasinghe, will be performing at the dinner.
Le Chat Lunatique is a professional group of four well- dressed, handsome young men who play a combination of Gypsy Swing, Western Swing and anything else that they damn well please! Filthy, Mangy Jazz is their forte!
Brunch and Groundbreaking for the new AYS Building on Sunday, May 30 from 10:30 - noon at the future home of the AYS building at 3315 Louisiana NE
Orchestra Rehearsal on Sunday, May 30 from 1:30 - 4:00 at Popejoy.
- AYS Alumni Orchestra Concert on Sunday, May 30, 2010, 5:00 pm. at Popejoy Hall. (Admission to the concert is free.) See the roster for the Alumni Orchestra!
Repertoire includes:
- Prelude from the opera "Hansel and Gretel" by Humperdinck, conducted by Mr Kempter
- 3rd movement from Hanson's Romantic Symphony No. 2, conducted by Mr Kempter
- "Nimrod" from Elgar "Enigma" Variations, conducted by Mr Gordon
- Berceuse and Finale from "The Firebird Suite" by Stravinsky, conducted by Mr Gordon
- Three Dances from Gayne Ballet, Khachaturian, conducted by Mr Kats
