Veronica Wilson - PSO Co-Conductor

Veronica Wilson Veronica Wilson received her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Sam Houston State University with emphasis in violin performance and orchestral conducting.

While in Texas, Mrs. Wilson was Conductor and Artistic Director of the Huntsville Youth Orchestra and Conroe Symphony Youth Orchestra, worked as an orchestra director, and was a clinician and judge for various junior high and high school orchestras across the state.

Mrs. Wilson was on the faculty at Sam Houston State University as the Instructor of String Pedagogy and taught private violin/viola lessons to 40 students in Houston area.

Mrs. Wilson has completed additional studies at summer music festivals such as the Hot Springs Music Festival in Arkansas, The Greater Washington Suzuki Institute in Washington D.C., the Intermountain Suzuki String Institute in Utah, and the Rome Festival Orchestra in Rome, Italy.

Mrs. Wilson's teachers include Fredell Lack, Lawrence Wheeler, John Randolph, and Lisa Burrell for violin/viola, and Dr. Carol Smith and Dr. Clyde Roller for conducting.
