Ron Teare, AJS Co-Conductor

Ron Teare is in his 37th year of teaching in the public schools. He began his teaching career in the Artesia, NM Public Schools in 1966 and moved to Michigan in 1969 to teach in the Kalamazoo Public Schools. Ron returned to Albuquerque in 1978 to teach in the Albuquerque Public Schools.

Ron received his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Temple University in 1965 and his Master of Music Education from Eastern New Mexico University in 1966. Additionally, he has attended a variety of workshops at the University of New Mexico. He was the conductor of the Albuquerque Junior Orchestra in 1980 and was the conductor of the Albuquerque Youth Orchestra from 1981 to 2001. He has been Co-Conductor of the Albuquerque Junior Symphony since 2003
