Marie Robertson, AJO Co-Conductor

Marie Robertson has been the Co-Conductor of the Albuquerque Junior Orchestra for twelve years. Marie is an alumna of the AYS Program, and was a concerto winner during her senior year. Marie went on to earn her Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of New Mexico, and taught orchestra in the public schools for eight years. Marie performed in the violin section of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra for 25 years.

Marie and her husband Don currently own Robertson and Sons Violin Shop. Their children have graduated from the AYS Program, and they have a granddaughter in the program now. Marie has served on the AYS Program Board of Directors, and continues her support of the program through a leadership gift to our capital campaign.
