Albuquerque Youth Symphony: Gabriel Gordon, director

Russian-born American violinist Philippe Quint plays the 1723 Ex-Kiesewetter Stradivarius. The Cincinnati Enquirer says, "With his lanky build and shoulder-length dark hair, he looked like a modern day Paganini - and he played like one, too." And as a special treat, the Albuquerque Youth Symphony will join the NMSO for a side-by-side performance of Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra.
