Elias-Axel Pettersson (AYS Class of 1998, Violin) has released a collection of piano works.
The CDs can be purchased from the AYS Program office for $15, and feature the works of Bach, Beethoven, Janacek, Scriabin, Mussogsky and Chopin.
Since graduating from the AYS Program, Elias graduated from the University of Rochester with a B.A. in Music.
Concurrently, he studied piano at the Eastman School of Music. Elias received his M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Maryland.
He has performed across the United States and Canada, and has placed in several international piano competitions.

AYS Tour to Chicago
The AYS will continue the tradition of annual touring with a tour to Chicago on March 25 - 29.
The AYS will give the following concerts:
Wednesday, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. - Lincoln-Way East High School (201 Colorado Avenue in Frankfurt). Admission is free.
Thursday, March 27 at 8:00 p.m. - Evanston Township High School (1600 Dodge Ave. in Evanston). Admission is free
In addition, the AYS will attend performances of "Wicked" and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, visit museums and experience the Windy City.
