Albuquerque Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphony Give Winter Concerts

The Albuquerque Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Sayra Siverson, will give a free concert at Albuquerque High School on Tuesday, January 29 at 7:00 p.m.

The Albuquerque Youth Symphony, under the direction of Gabriel Gordon, will give a concert on Tuesday, February 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Popejoy Hall.

The AYS concert will feature the second of three AYS Concerto winners, Haley Seybert. Tickets for the Albuquerque Youth Symphony are $10.00 general admission.

St. Olaf Orchestra Gives World Premiere in Memory Of Eric Drotning, AYS Alumnus

St Olaf Orchestra

The internationally known St. Olaf Orchestra from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., will perform at Albuquerque's National Hispanic Cultural Center on Thursday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m.

This concert also features the world premiere of "The Gift" by Steven Amundson, which was commissioned by William and Christine Drotning and Seth and Elizabeth Drotning Hartwell in memory of Eric Drotning.
